We went to a concert out in San Diego and a couple of friends came back with us and waited in our room for their ride to come. The late night manager was VERY rude and kicked everyone out because the room was for 2 people only. They hadn't even gotten their stuff before the manager felt it was necessary to call the room phone and threaten to call the cops if they didn't leave NOW. They had to wait in our car for 30 minutes. This hotel was not bad for money. The location is convenient, on a quiet street. pleasant surroundings. Room was very clean. Price was very fair.
The front desk staff, particularly the night attendant, was very impolite and abrasive . Also the bathtub seemed coated in teflon, it was very slippery! Careful when bathing! ...read more

The hotel was clean and the area quiet. This is nestled back from the main streets of the area. It is serviced by both Trolley and bus but has ample parking as well.

For the price, it was a great stay. It's right next to freeway off/on ramps so quick to get to. It's definitely no frills but if you just need a place to shower and sleep, it's perfect.

I just finished a big conference at another hotel and needed internet to finish reports. The room did not allow me to pick up Wi-Fi. The manager spent 60 minutes attempting to make it work and wasn't able to do so. He was extremely apologetic and courteous and found another room where I was able to utilize the internet. I found his customer service to be excellent where he could have just said it didn't work. ...read more
